Super 8 by Wyndham Amarillo Central TX

Passing through Amarillo Had a late check in but was greated by friendly staff upon arrival. Rooms were clean and quiet. Looked to have a decent breakfast selection before checkout departure but did not partake as I was in hurry.

The property does not have an elevator, the room had an old musty odor, there was no running hot water and the restroom lights were not working. We needed a room to rest and refresh before getting on the road again…this place did not meet our needs.

it was in an unusual location on a one-way street, which made it harder for a stranger to get around. i wasn't used to driving in amarillo, so it took me awhile to figure out how to get to local eateries. in general, room was comfortable, and the fridge and micro made it easy to stay in and eat.

Spent one night there. Room was okay, small continental breakfast included. Area by the hotel looks empty, close to highway but quiet. For one night was okay.

The entire property was run down and in need of repair, wall paper torn in the room and stained carpet. There was a distinctly unpleasant smell in the halls and room. The website advertised a room with two queen beds which were actually full sized beds. The wifi did not work and no one picked up when we called the front desk. I would NEVER Stay at this hotel again.
