After arriving late at night, I went to check in with my young child. The lady that checked us in was an older gal, white hair, perhaps shoulder length.
She noticed we were booked in a more handicapped room. She asked if I would be willing to switch of course, I said yes.
She stated she only had rooms on the second floor, I inquired if there was an elevator which she stated no.
I said if you have one on the first floor, I’d gladly take it, otherwise I would not be able to switch because I have a bad back and can’t go up and down the stairs with our luggage.
She sighed/scouffed at me… and told me she would have to put the elderly people out and turn them away since I wasn’t willing to switch.
Very very rude lady. I was willing to accommodate to the best of my abilities. But I due to my own health issues I also had to be mindful, but due to my younger age. She was absolutely judgmental, not knowing my health, nor is it necessary for her to need that information.
Location was very sketchy, people walked by our room all night and someone knocked on our door at 6:45 in the morning. Breakfast area was TINY and not nearly enough room to seat or eat.
