The price was great at about $80 per night and the location was interesting, about 8 miles up a winding road from Amantea. However we would not know that we were on a farm. There was no introduction or tour to show us what you grew or produced. The rooms were just OK, the beds were OK, a bit hard and elastic and the pillows were very firm. The room was clean, bathroom was small. Window was missing a screen, so we got some mosquitoes inside. We really enjoyed the dinner you prepared for us and all 20 of our cousins. It couldn't have been better. With over 12 wonderful appetizers and two pasta courses, farm wine, coffee and digestivs. Excellent food and service. The best gnocchi I have ever had. But I have to say that the breakfast you served was very disappointing. We were expecting something homemade (or at least purchased from a bakery) because we were on a working farm. Instead we got pastries wrapped in plastic and bought in a store. Capuccinos were good, coffee, tea and yogurt in plastic cups. That's why we skipped breakfast on the second day and went to a café on the way to Sorrento. You explained that you provided store bought pastries because of sanitary reasons. Yet our great dinner was served on platters without any such precautions. Very puzzling.
