excellent location at key area of Amalfi. despite facing the piazza, unexpectedly it's not too noisy, thanks to double glazed window plus wooden door. staff are friendly. room is clean & spacious. would recommend

Hotel Fontana is great hotel in location , in the terms of staff. Staff of hotel is very cooperative and they are very helpful. Hotel is located just in the centre of Amalfi . And gives a good view of church and the restaurant on street. I would highly recommend this hotel.

位置優越，離火車站非常近，走路幾分鐘，外出交通便利，公交線路很多，房間乾淨整潔，早餐很豐盛

街の中心でとても便利でした。夜は賑やかでしたが気持ちよく過ごせました。ベッドがセミシングルサイズでとても小さくビックリしましたがそれ以外は満足です。

Staff was unfriendly from time of check in to service at the bar. Rooms are very warm and uncomfortable. Hotel restaurant is good, not great. For the price I was highly disappointed. Would not recommend and will not stay there again.

This is about as central to Amalfi as you can get. Breakfast was doable and appreciated. We booked this hotel for 2 reasons only and were not disappointed. Location and an ocean view room.

We only stayed one night but wish it would've been more. The large windows that open to a balcony, the amazing breakfast and the smell of ocean air in the morning. This place was beautiful and had so many qualities i look forward to hopefully staying again some day.

Location is excellent for this hotel. Right at the start of town by the church and only a few minutes walk to the ferry. Room is smaller which is normal for European hotels. Be prepared to carry your luggage up some steep steps to get to the lobby. Our remote for the air conditioning was not working when we arrived in the room but reception quickly took care of it. Housekeeping was very good. Only had the breakfast on one day but they are very organized with it. A pleasant stay.

The hotel was very satisfactory. A good value. The location is the good and bad of this hotel. You are right in the town square which is great for most things such as shopping, restaurants, etc. But it is extremely noisy. If you can sleep with loud noise throughout the entire night, it is a great option. If you need some quiet, may not be a good fit.
