Whilst we are still on holiday. I thought it’s a good place to write a review. On arrival Jordan on reception was at the top of his game and made sure we were well accommodated. Following on our room is spacious and comfortable with well serviced with the room cleaned and the towels changed. The negativity surrounding the food in the blue dining room being cold especially is a fair criticism from previous reviews and have made it clear to both the FOH team and a chef doing the temperature checks. It’s such a shame that the kitchen brigade is presenting good food and being let down by the server counters, possibly more batch cooking required. Nevertheless the selection and cold salad choices are good. Another negative is the supervisor Leider who is abrupt and clearly rude in her delivery to customers. The animation team work hard at delivering a good daytime and evening presentation and at times it dips but overall it’s well managed. The pool bar team is good and work tirelessly too reduce queuing, special mention to David, very good service. Overall it’s been a 100% better stay than Jet2’s Malta recommended holiday. Hotel 8/10 and would recommend. We spent a couple of nights in Alvor to avoid repetitive evenings, there’s plenty of choice and reasonably priced restaurants.

Biggest pool ever. Great choice of food. Rooms cleaned, towels changed daily. Friend helpful staff. Found lady on reception (Lara) exceptionally helpful and very accommodating. Location a little out of the way if you have trouble walking or mobility issues. Town is about a 15/20 minute walk to local bars, eating places and souvenir shops. Beach/marina also about 15/20 minute walk. You can have a lovely walk along the promenade from one end of beach to the traditional little fishing village. Hotel provided free bus service to and from the beach throughout the day which is very useful. Only downside is evenings can be a struggle if you like a bit of music or live entertainment as not much going on. Overall a lovely, relaxed break.

A enjoyable stay from start to finish. Very helpful staff on reception. We were AI so had cloth band put on wrist and not them plastic bands. Informed regards tourist tax. Which was paid on arrival plus got a safe for our week which was €10.50. Given well informed leaflet regarding all aspects of hotel. Our room was on the 4th floor facing the mountains. We hardly heard anything from what was going on round by the pool area on a evening. Rooms are very spacious with tv's in the living room and bedroom. Only proper English channel was sky news. Which doesn't bother us. Only gripe about rooms was the light in the wall between living area and bedroom. Was so annoying. You get a big balcony with table and chairs. Good size bathroom with powerful shower over a bath. Which had none slip straps in bath bottom. Loads of wardrobe space but not enough hangers. Only 4 not too big draws. In the kitchen area you get hob, microwave and fridge. NO KETTLE. And not much pots and pans. Maid came in daily to change towels make bed. Wifi was excellent throughout the whole hotel. Apart from one day which it didn't work on my phone. Meals on AI: On entering dinning room had to give your room number. And was then shown to a table. All the staff were very efficient. BREAKFAST＞ Was the same everyday with cooked breckie choice, continental and fruit etc. LUNCH ＞ Plenty of cooked choice. Cold dishes, desserts. Wine and beer. DINNER ＞ As above. Note regarding cooked food. Not always warm. Had to use microwave on occasions located in the dining room. They have 2 dining rooms. 1 for families and the other adult only. Which open at slightly different times. POOL AREA＞ Plenty of sunbeds round a massive pool. Plenty of other seating with tables near the entertainment stage and pool bar. The pool bar served beer in small plastic cups and other drinks in clear plastic cups. The quality of the drinks was quite good for AI. You had to queue sometime. Which could be a bigger issue in high season. And you can only get 2 drinks at once. Didn't bothered us. The entertainment team did bingo, quizzes, pool aerobics etc. Music on a evening. Which we didn't go to apart from when they had karaoke on one night after been off site for a meal. Which finished at 23:00 On our last day had to be out of our rooms for 12 noon Our return pick up was at 15:00. We asked if we could still use the restaurants. They gave us a voucher for food from the restaurant and we could still get the AI drinks till we left. We would go back to this hotel. Infact some of our group it was there second time.

Really brilliant experience from start to finish not a thing I would change from the range of food breakfast dinner and tea Always something different pool area is very chilled out with loads of sun beds to go round to the entertainment every day/night amazing would definitely come back

The best holiday ever… The food was great, the staff were amazing, the service has been incredible and the overall hotel experience has set the standard! Would recommend everyone! I can’t think of any complaints whatsoever, its just an incredible experience.

Haven't been yet, but so far communication, as in e mail conversations, have been outstanding. The team, and I only have Alexandra's name so far, but all the team who have responded have been by far the best I've experienced- speedy, considerate and extremely helpful. Thank you

We've just returned from a trip here and was a little apprehensive, having read some of the reviews but really didn't need to be. We travelled as a family of four, but also with a larger group of friends to attend a nearby wedding. First impressions were great. We arrived after the restaurant had closed as our flight was delayed and reception arranged for sandwiches and snacks to be sent to the room which was very welcome. The hotel is very clean, was impressed with how clean the pool and toilet areas were by the pool. The room itself was ok. Fine as a base but feel it could have done away with the kitchen and dining table for all inclusive guests and made more room for sleeping areas or sitting. Not enough clothes storage by far for a family of four. Bring hangers with you as they only supply about 5. Small gripe that the dividing wall between the bedroom and living area isn't a complete wall, so there's a gap at the top of about a foot so the bedroom doesn't have total privacy, the kids were moaning about the noise of the snoring ! The hotel is huge. There are 2 restaurants, one for adults and over 12s and a family one. They are basically the same with the family one having a few extra kid friendly dishes. The food is typical all-inclusive buffet food, but tasty and plenty of choice. Would have perhaps liked a bit more lunch variety like sandwiches or lighter food rather than full meal and would have been good to have a snack bar option at lunchtime instead. Pool is a little cold but not awful, kids weren't bothered by it but if you're travelling with little ones an insulated swimsuits a good idea. Staff were great, really friendly and couldn't do enough for you. There's a free shuttle bus to the beach several times a day. Entertainment is a little basic, I'd rather have seen shows and maybe singers more than audience participation entertainment but it was ok. All in all the hotel was good for the price, a few small improvements would make it great but we had a lovely holiday.

Hotel was very large and clean with great pool area, pool bar far too small for size of the outside area meaning long waits for a drink alot of the time. Food was very repetitive, cold and overcooked alot of the time. Evening entertainment in non existent apart from music being played and guests encouraged to dance or sing on karaoke! Would not consider this a 4 star hotel based on this stay.
