We stayed here as a family of four with two young children and had a really lovely experience. We booked a suite overlooking the pool, and it was impressively spacious. The layout was perfect for families, with kitchen facilities and two separate bedrooms that could be closed off with a door and both have rooms have access to the balcony, ideal for when the kids go to bed early. The restaurant staff were incredibly hardworking and attentive. It would be nice to see them treated with a bit more respect by their managers, as they really go above and beyond. The food itself was consistently fresh with a wide variety on offer. I usually get bored of all-inclusive meals after a few days, but the quality and variety here was fab. The drinks were also good. A couple of minor downsides: the rooms don’t have irons, and unfortunately, the hotel doesn’t provide them. Instead, they offer a very overpriced laundry service, so I’d definitely recommend bringing a travel iron. Also, the animation team felt a bit underwhelming. Compared to other all-inclusives we’ve stayed at, the mini disco felt rushed and lacked energy only about 20 minutes long and there were no daytime activities, so we often ventured out as the pool area got a bit repetitive. I’d echo other reviews that mentioned the indoor bar lacks atmosphere, it feels quite clinical. That said, the entertainment was moved outdoors a few nights before we left, and that made a big difference, though the kids’ activities still felt brief. There’s an artist downstairs on some evenings who does portrait sketches. He did a beautiful drawing of our daughter, highly recommend visiting him if you can. Overall, we’d definitely return, perhaps in the summer when the entertainment might be more active and engaging.
