Arena Hotel

We’d chosen this hotel among the great number of others because of its photos, other tourists’ reviews and our desire to live in such good conditions during our vacation in Sri-Lanka. And this choice had been the best! All the staff of Arena hotel is like a real family! They knew every tourist, tried to make staying at the hotel very comfortable and smiled all the time so sincerely! We’d become like relatives with then! The food at the sky-restaurant was very tasty! Our room was small but very cozy and clean! Everything was as good as possible! Especially I’d like to thank main manager of the hotel Kosala who helped us for several times and was very kind to us. And my best wishes to waiters Ravindu and Samira! You’d made our vacation very nice!

We stopped here for a coffee during a long drive with our TukTuk. Samira helped us and was very friendly. He showed us the view from the rooftop and the crocodile on the tree in the river. It was a nice place to have a coffee. Will recommend going here!

The staff is very professional, friendly and helpful . Especially Laxman and Samith from the restaurant, Thimira from the coffee shop. Also warm words for Saman, not sure what are his exact responsibilities but if you ned a boat ride or whatever else, you get it asap. Rooms are clean, infrastructure is not a resort like, but if you want a calm stay outside the crowd, Arena is a good choice.
