The ‘hotel’ is a run down and abandoned part of the site, lost in time and decaying day by day. On arrival to the anadolu club didim, we were impressed by the gated entrance, and arriving at reception to being greeted by attentive staff, black marble floors and huge white pillars with welcoming rattan furniture. This is where it ends, bad from here on in. Reception is dusty and dirty and not very welcoming. Staff seem to be children and very scruffy and dirty looking, a few measly biscuits and juices and a coffee machine that has part cups the size of egg cups! Not what you expect from a 5* property. We were taken to our rooms by club buggy, on arrival at the ‘hotel’ block we were faced with an awkward entrance to the reception, broken steps and what was a poor attempt of disabled ramp. What a ‘false’ sense of representation from the main area. Hotel lobby looks like an old persons home from the 60s, no reception staff, no where to get a drink or refreshment. We went to the lifts to go to the rooms and were hit with a smell as bad as rotting food, stains of some description running down the doors, ripped flooring and missing buttons to the control panel. When we got to our rooms, they were the size of matchboxes. You couldn’t get around the bed each side as there was less than a 1ft gap right around. And being disabled was totally unsuitable (even after liaising with the hotel before arrival to advise of disability) We advised that we could not accept the rooms due to the size and needs required, we were advised that we could not have other rooms even after offering to pay for upgrade. The hotel were totally unhelpful and didn’t want to know, so I contacted EasyJet 24 hr resort service and they got involved. Eventually we were told that we could upgrade to larger rooms the next day, so we didn’t unpack on that evening, at this point it was time for evening meal, we ordered a club buggy and went to the restaurant for food. We were in amazement at the state of the place. Ripped chairs, uncovered food with flies everywhere! Not even glasses for everyone to have a drink of water, absolutely filthy and a poor selection of foods. The following morning we went to reception and were advised that the rooms we could upgrade to were not available until late afternoon, even though they had already been checked out. So we had to send the day by the pool bar and shopping centre. So another day without and unpacking and a 2nd lost day off our holiday. After complaining to reception and EasyJet getting involved and us advising that the hotel was dirty and certainly not a 5* as advised and deserved no more than a 2* We returned to our rooms to find a letter of intention to evict us for making a complaint! This hotel does NOT deserve to be advertised as a 5* and certainly needs to be looked at for food and hygiene! Believe all the negative reviews! People who leave good reviews have obviously never been to a 5* hotel and received service they dese
