Blue Sardine

Hostel put me off but all the 5 star ratings and reviews turned it around and this hostel did not disappoint! Located literally steps from the sea, room 205 had a sea view through a passage way between the buildings. Excellent location for everything you’d want to do in Altea. Room and bathroom are spotless and a good size, bed is giant. It was my birthday weekend and they had left a bottle of champagne in the fridge, glasses, a card and balloons on the bed. Lovely touch. We’ll defo be back to the Hostel Blue Sardine. Even the hallways are impressive

Booked in for 2 nights in September. Lovely rooms .lovely reception. Lovely cleaners .and ended up staying for 7 days in the end. Very welcoming place and in a great location .would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to visit the beautiful town of altea.thanks scott

This place is incredible. Super clean, the friendliest staff and it is across the street from the beach. There is air condition in each room and the various amenities (wifi etc) worked perfectly. This should be your first choice when visiting Altea!

What a fabulous experience staying at the Blue Sardine. Our room was one of the best we have ever stayed at with original features, boutique styling and a very large roof top balcony and sun patio area. The views from our sun terrace were of the sea, mountains and old town. Each way we looked there was another marvellous view! Angelica and the team at Blue Sardine could not have been more helpful, what lovely people. The room was spotless and refreshed daily. The Team even left a very special personal gift and message for a birthday we celebrated during the holiday. The Blue Sardine is in a great location with easy access to the promenade, beaches, sea view restaurants and the amazing old town with its church, plaza and stylish restaurants only streets away. We had a great stay made even more special and memorable by meeting Angelica and the team. We will return.

Stayed in the deluxe double room and WOW was it deluxe! Every detail has been nailed down to the T, extremely authentic with a modern twist! The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Would 100% visit again, for the price you cannot go wrong! Gorgeous hostal!

We stayed at the Blue Sardine four nights. They gave us a wonderful and modern room, nicely decorated. The service was amazing. before our arrival they reached out to check if we had any questions. On arrival we were welcomed and they offered a free upgrade of our room. Also, during the stay they regularly checked if everything was ok through whatsapp. This is a new hotel and the owners really put a lot of love and effort in it. Good location, 50m from the beach and restaurants. Can't go wrong here. You can park for free just 200m from the hotel, next to the train station.

A little gem, pleasantly priced, newly refurbished to a high standard maintaining a rustic yet modern look… slick and efficient check in, comfortable beds, discrete and efficient staff. Right in the middle of Altea… ideal location for a break in a wonderful Spanish town… 👏

Blue Sardine is three story building with beautiful architecture and a peaceful a**osphere. The architecture is the architecture of Altea, white, small rooms, Arabic evocation, and very comfortable. The building is located one block from the beach in a downtown street. However, the rooms are peaceful and quiet. Excellent windows and doors to terraces are German. Good price/ quality.

Estuvimos esta Semana Santa, y nos encanto el establecimiento. Destacar la limpieza, en todo el establecimiento, nuestra habitación era un pequeño apartamento, con todo lo necesario, aunque nosotros solo utilizamos la cafetera, tiene dos terrazas muy agradables para poder descansar después de largas jornadas. La cama big size, comodisima con muy buena calidad en la ropa de cama, cada día realizan la limpieza Han conseguido crear un agradable ambiente en la restauración de la finca, que va desde lo tradicional a lo vanguardista. Todo el staff muy profesional, agradable, simpático y dispuesto en todo momento a ayudarte en todo. No dudamos en recomendarlo y por supuesto no dudaremos en repetir si volvemos a visitar la zona.
