Blue Sardine

A warm welcome and easy check in. Stunning room and super comfy bed. Room 207 overlooking the main road but we had the doors open all night and could hear the waves 🥰 perfect location and just yards from the beautiful front and about 10 mins up the wee streets to the church and some fab restaurants. Highly recommend - thanks for making our stay memorable 😊

We stayed for 2 nights in February 2025. It's spotless and the rooms are spacious and spotless with bare stone walls. Great shower and bathroom although the sliding door doesn't fully close and noise travels! Perfect location close to beach although some road noise. Cracking find

I booked this hotel in a bit of a panic since my original hotel had no water and I was forced to find somewhere else, I arrived and the manager Lourdes was extremely helpful and she showed me 3 rooms. (I had booked through *********** ) The rooms were very nice but it was only the bigger room which had a view see photo on the website that appealed to me as a single traveller. I realised however that I would not be able to manage the stairs and asked Lourdes if I could possibly cancel my booking which was only hours old and she told me that she could not do this that I would need to contact Booking .com which I tried to do without success. I am not staying at the hotel at present and although beautifully decorated it was not for me as the stairs would be a problem ( I am 75 with arthritis in the hips) Just upset that I have lost so much money !

It is a very cosy apartment. Easy to find in Altea. Only 1 min walk to the sea. Do not miss the sunrise. It is also close to the train station. If you come by car like us you can park behind the train station. The room was very clean,we loved the design. The bed was comfy. Our room was number 1. It could accommodate someone with disability. I love they thought of this. If you are sensitive with noises than for you it might be an issue. It was not for us ☺️ Thank you for the warm welcome at the reception and Kata it was nice to meet you. We wish you all the best. Sorry we could not meet but some plans changed and left earlier.

We came as three different families, staying in three different rooms and we all, had a great stay at Blue Sardine. Rooms spotless, beds so comfortable, making our stay a memorable one. Easy access to restaurants, the beach, shops and the old town. Making it a worthwhile destination.

Spent eight nights here in three different rooms. Everything was super fine, rooms was fantastic and service even better. We must recommend the Blue Room for plenty of space and the autentic experience. Hostel has a perfect location both for beach and old town experiences We will be back!
