There's so many places to choose from in the Algarve and I am so glad I picked this one. I was looking for a quiet breakaway from the Irish weather and this was exactly what I needed. The staff are exceptionally kind and quietly attentive. The rooms and facilities are wonderful; clean and efficiently maintained. And the food; just sublime. Dinner in the restaurant each evening was superb. Breakfast had one of the best selections I've seen. For me it was the staff; such kindness and attentiveness I haven't seen in a long time. I'll definitely be back.

Hotel Quinta do Lago is by far the best Hotel in Algarve! We had the best experience! The staff is the most professional and kind we can find , from the room services, to the reception staff , and the restaurant where they serve an incredible buffet breakfast and all the staff is so kind and professional. Here I have to mention Barbara , the most professional person I have ever met , always extremely kind and attentive with the clients, making us feel as if we are at home… The restaurants are excellent with a very sophisticated menu. I highly recommend this Hotel, and will be back for sure !

What an experience... Extremely polite and kind staff showing very high levels of professionalism, excellent food, very comfortable and extremely well kept facilities, very quiet atmosphere and a very good place to have lunch and dinner as an alternative to all the restaurants that are usually full in the Summer. Never tasted anything like that. It's expensive but I recognize it's worth every cent.

An easy 5* review. Warm greeting on arrival. Room delightful with excellent air conditioning. Brilliant pool area with wonderful staff. Lots of sunbeds so no early fight. Breakfast excellent , large coffee and fresh juice choice, egg chef etc. Food within the hotel top drawer. Staff: All have a genuine smile. One you can’t fake so they much be happy working here. Credit that to the delightful manager Daniel. Oh and the beds….seriously comfortable…..sensational bedding. I can’t even think of a minor complaint.

We went with the family for a a six days break The best thing about this hotel is the Staff very friendly specially Andre, in the bar/ restaurant, Jorge the chef in the breakfast and the rest of the staff Excellent. The hotel supplies a free shuttle to the beaches. We were half board as I have said breakfast was excellent but the evening menus looked good but didn't deliver on taste or quality on my opinion.

Overall facilities are first class, the staff, many long standing, treat us as family. This is the reason we return year after year. New art work was put around the hotel and bed rooms this year which as well as refreshing, is really interesting and complementary to the overall ambience of the hotel.

Everything and everyone was perfect ! I have nothing else to say. My room was very nice. The staff were very smiling, polite and very attentive to my requests. The food offered was delicious, the breakfast offered was very complete and careful. The meeting room facilities are also very good. It was a very nice experience.

Lovely stay overall but let down by many issues that should be fixed. Our room was below the main restaurant and Lugana bar. The noise from above was ridiculous at times. Tables and chairs being moved pre service. Revellers in bar until after 1pm kept us awake. Next time we will book a room above. *******: Worst Mojito ever. Just rum and mint. I complained but waitress smiled!! Stale bread and pastries. Not good enough in a hotel that’s 5* Other guests agreed with this. At breakfast, bacon tough as old boots - but great omelette Pool bar toasted ham and cheese way below a local snack bar. Vegetables and spuds at dinner poor in quantity and presentation (seems to be a Portuguese malaise). Great fish and Lamb chops though. Slippery showers almost dangerous despite a little paper matt PROS Super friendly staff Lovely pool and surroundings Garden is top class Great location beside beach Great wines that were not too marked up. Parking Housekeeping Manager needs a kick up the rear as these are all easily fixed.
