First things first. This place is a rip-off with poor service, and located in a street that is not very clean. The staff is inefficient (an order of chai, takes half hour to arrive) and front desk is irresponsible. In spite of jacked up the price 4 times the normal price, they did not back it up with the right service. They promised us to arrange for pickup (again at jacked up pricing), but where the cars were stopped, without getting alternate bikes or other modes of transport, we had to walk a kilometer to reach the hotel. Water stopped running midnight and no one to take the call at reception, to set it right. Had to spend hours chasing some person in the kitchen to call someone to get this fixed. They promised pickup in the morning to go to Sangam, at 4 am, and then denied that they ever said this. Rooms are okay, but surroundings are not great. Greatly advised to go, if you want to be ripped of at substandard service. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

To be honest it’s a scam and fraud to even call this property even associated with ITC in any way whatsoever. Terrible terrible service. Rooms are bad ,not clean, with spider webs. It’s a heritage property which isn’t even preserved properly it’s seems like we are paying hefty money for a 1 star property just because ITC is written on the plate. Don’t waste your hard earned money on this property. There are many more options available.

My worst experience in India. Room had not been cleaned: bed linen covered with blood stains and hairs, dirty towels, bedside tables thick with dust. Windows not sealed with glass, open to the streets and noise. My room was basically a cave with a WC and shower nozzle installed. Unresponsive staff. Poor food. One of my party had to yell at the staff to get the food he had ordered, after waiting an hour. Don't do this to yourself. Stay somewhere, anywhere, else.

Disappointed with my stay here. Rooms were poorly maintained, pillows were in terrible condition, and the staff was unhelpful and rude. Not worth the price—even at a third of the cost. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone! #TravelFail #HotelReview

This was the worst hotel experience of my life! We spent ₹60,000 for two rooms, and it was an absolute disaster. Both rooms had bugs, and one even had bed bugs—it was disgusting! The bed was dirty, the washroom was filthy, and bugs were crawling everywhere. The flush was so dirty that it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. To make things even worse, the staff was extremely rude and acted like they didn’t care at all. Instead of fixing our problems, they ignored us. And the biggest scam? They charged us ₹1,770 for just ONE towel! That’s just insane. The food was completely average, nothing special, and definitely not worth the price. This place is a joke. If you’re thinking about staying here, DON’T! It’s not even worth ₹600, let alone ₹60,000. Save your money and go somewhere else—this place should be shut down!

Stayed in the group (9 rooms.) The dining service experience is very bad. The serving staff is not trained. if we order for food then either they will serve you roti first or subji first. Means one of the foods will be got cold. They will not serve or prepare both together. Food is good. The Geyser in the bathroom is so small (3 ltr) one can only get 3 ltr warm (not hot water) Then we will to wait for another 3~4 minutes for another 3 ltr warm water. No running hot water is available in any room. It is not expected from such highly priced hotel. The location is also not prime. It is the small lane.

A great heritage hotel.Lots of character.. I had a tour of the premises and it was very interesting as the building is very old and had several special guests stay here. Food was great in the restaurant.. Rittu Singh, Sandeep and Romina were welcoming and made our stay extra special.

We had a suite and it was very nice. Lots of space, large, comfortable bed. The restaurant is fairly good in the evening, but at breakfast you should be down early. The road outside is very narrow for cars and I would not drive there with my own vehicle. But is was a fascinating street to walk on. The river is also very close, jus two blocks.
