Goed locatie/nette badkamer/geen airco/wel kleine ventilator/hoge ramen daardoor zie je weinig wanneer je zit/17,50 om je auto een paar uur te parkeren/ontbijt was o.k maar niks speciaals en automaat koffie.

Gut gelegenes, ruhiges und sauberes Hotel nahe des Stadtzentrum von Alkmaar. Frühstücksbuffet ausreichend und das frisch gebackendes Brot ein Traum. Parkplätze, auch wenn man keinen Hotelparkplatz gebucht hat, ausreichend in näherer Umgebung vorhanden. Stadtzentrum zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Matratze gut. Badeort Egmond aan Zee 11km entfernt und per Auto in 10min erreichbar.

Very nice and clean rooms. We were sitting with a bigger group in the bar and were served very attentively. Breakfast was good and in relation to the price. An extra plus is the parking place under a roof. Due to the snow, this was specifically helpful.

My husband, our daughter and I booked this hotel for 2 weeks. The location is great: close to railway station, bus station and city center. The staff is friendly. The cleaning up after breakfast or just having a drink and a snack is really slow. We had a drink, went out for dinner and two hours later, the glasses were still on the table how we left it. Table is right in front of the window. Bar service isn't really quick either. The bitterballen however are delucious: you have to try them, yummy!! The outdoor seating area also needs more attention regarding cleaning, also the footpath: cigarette buts etc. I can't understand why some people don't use the provided ashtrays. We enjoyed the room size and the bathroom! A suggestion to update the entrance, bar and breakfast area: get rid of allthe artificial, outdated vases with flowers and replace them either with living plants or fresh colorful flowers. l
