Hotel Ristorante Al Mulino

The hotel is located outside of Alessandria, so you need to travel by car to reach it. And it offers lots of parking space. It's ranked as a 4-star hotel, but feels more like a 3-star. The rooms are wide and spacious, the bathroom too. The view from the room is on the parking lot, and you can't open the window because there are too many mosquitoes in the area. We stayed at the hotel for two nights. At the first night it was full with some group of tourists, so the wi-fi internet didn't work at all, because of the overload, and the receptionist didn't offer any solution. At the second night there was a football team that occupied the hotel, and you could hear them roar all evening/night long... The breakfast was good, but the waiter in the breakfast hall didn't help or do anything for the guests that didn't speak Italian. So you had to make yourself your own cup of coffee... Also, the staff at the reception was very very very nice. BUT when I asked them if they could put something little in my parents' room (because my father had a birthday at the second day we stayed there), they agreed, and offered to put a cake. Which they did, and even added to that a bottle of champagne. It was a very nice surprise for my father, when we got back to the room at the evening. BUT they have charged us for that 50 euros (!!). Which was very UNFAIR, because in NO POINT of the conversation with them, they haven't mentioned that the cake or any kind of "a little surprise" will cost me money, or HOW MUCH money it may cost. They could have added how many items they've wanted and I would have to be obliged to pay... Which is very unfair and dishonest.

I was directed here by my satnav, after placing a booking over the internet while at a service station, tired of driving for the day. The reception was very helpful, The room, modernly appointed , airy and well presented , clean and not a speck of dust. Dinner was very enjoyable and also was breakfast. All in all, it was a good call. Will choose to stop there again, if we ever drive to Italy again in future, The bonus points are that there was a decently priced petrol Station nearby, and very close to the Autostrada entrance.

A new find for us and we managed to stay on the way down to Umbria and on the way back as we were so impressed with the Restaurant and rooms. So convenient just by the motorway exit. At first approach were not sure if we were in the right place, then turned into the car park and an elegant mill presented itself. The Hotel is modern and clean and the rooms and very spacious, the bathroom very spacious. Great views over to the snow covered mountains. The restaurant is superb. Homemade pasta with delicious sauces. Meat dishes superb. Deserts to die for and very pretty. Wine list to suit everyone, and grappa for digestivo. Who could ask for more. Well breakfast was a feast. Staff are professional and pleasant. A true find.

albergo situato in una posizione molto comoda con ampio parcheggio ed in piena campagna , quindi assenza totale di rumori, il ristorante annessi e nella media, pulizia ottima e descrizione dei piatte molto chiara da parte del personale. ve lo consiglio

Hotel che dall'esterno da un'impressione sbagliata. Stanze arredate finemente e di grandi dimensioni. Bagno grande. La colazione non è da 4 stelle, sebbene ci sia dolce e salato. Buona la posizione immediatamente fuori il casello autostradale. La wifi prende bene in camera ma nella hall niente.
