Our family stayed at La Esperanza Granada this February. We had high expectations, but honestly, it was even better than we imagined. We booked the Master Villa and Junior Suite as a two-bedroom setup, and it worked out perfectly. The villa is gorgeous, beautifully decorated and just has this really welcoming feel. It’s elegant but not over the top. Waking up to the views of the valley every morning was amazing. The location is something else. The almond trees were in full bloom, and they looked exactly like cherry blossoms. It was so beautiful. The whole area is quiet and peaceful, and so many things to do are just short drives away. And the food was delicious. Every meal was fresh and full of flavor, and you could tell how much care went into making it. We loved everything we had. La Esperanza isn’t just a nice place to stay, it’s an experience. We left feeling completely relaxed and already thinking about when we can come back.

Truly lovely and excellent hacienda hotel just outside the city of Granada. My family and I so enjoyed our stay here and we wish we'd stayed longer just to stop and smell the roses between all the sightseeing. The staff took such good care of us and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a different paella every night and were extremely satisfied. We booked the two bedroom villa and it was simply lovely and so authentic. We are so glad to have found the La Esperanza Granada paradise and we hope to visit again-- this time just to relax and enjoy the hotel.

We just finished staying at this lovely little hotel just outside Granada and we highly recommend it for its luxury and personalized service. Our family had an amazing time being pampered by the staff while enjoying the hacienda’s beautiful rooms. The salon is especially exquisite in decor, with the flamenco theme. We also loved the views of the valley and the white villages. Truly stunning, and such a memorable holiday.

One of the loveliest hacienda hotels I have ever stayed in. The suite was spacious and in excellent taste, and the service of GM Napo and his team were above and beyond expectations. We also loved the food. It was not a cheap stay but it was certainly a luxurious one. It was also the perfect base for exploring Granada and Andalucia. We so enjoyed our stay in this spacious and truly special place. Thank you to the team of La Esperanza for a most memorable holiday.

Such a beautiful hacienda to stay in. This boutique villa gave us a real taste of life in Spain. We never stay in generic hotels when we travel and we love finding unique and beautiful hotels. La Esperanza fit our bill perfectly. It is gorgeous in design and the location is absolutely stunning. A paradise, really. Every day we either just relaxed at the hotel or did day trips to Granada or the coast since so many lovely places are just a short drive away. How nice it was too, to return to La Esperanza every evening and to feel like we were returning back to our “home” in Spain. Napo, the manager, made us feel so at home with his warm welcome. We highly recommend a stay here! We stayed in the junior suite and had massages in front of the fireplace in the salon. The masseuse is fantastic.

It’s very rare to come across a hotel that stays in my mind long after I’ve left because I travel a lot (my husband and I love traveling in style since I retired) and we are quite fussy about staying in good places only. This hotel is a diamond in the rough. It’s not a five star deluxe hotel but in many ways it’s better. Having become immune to the charms of the typical luxury hotel, we delighted in the details of this hotel created with art and beauty in mind. Good taste is evident everywhere and an artisan even works full time onsite, apparently with no other mandate but to create art everywhere. We watched him with fascination and his art is unlike anything we’ve seen. He could be the next Gaudi of Spain and we’ve been privileged to have seen him at work. We will most certainly also be back. This is a place to relax, rejuvenate, celebrate life and just feel alive again.

I just can't get enough of this property! It was my second time visiting La Esperanza, and was not disappointed. I spent a whole year convincing my friends to accompany me to this magnificent getaway, and let me tell you, they left enamoured. I can't quite describe what it's like to wake up, open your balcony window, and look out onto the Lecrín Valley with a coffee in hand. If you're looking for the most relaxing escape of your life, don't hesitate to take the trip!

Beautiful hacienda hotel that is wonderful for families. This was our fourth visit and it will not be the last. Since our last time here, we noticed more impressive stonework in the gardens, the courtyard was lovelier than ever, and there was something excellent about the rooms although we could not pinpoint what had changed. Overall it was a feeling of an upgrade in the entire atmosphere of the hotel. The service and the food were as good as ever. Highly recommended.

This property is out of this world! Everything about it, from gorgeous location in the mountains to amazingly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff to meticulously maintained grounds, freshly prepared meals and spectacular views make me want to come back to this property the moment I left it. While it is a newly built property with all modern infrastructure and amenities (like pool, Jacuzzi, tennis courts, fast speed internet), the furniture and decor pieces transfer you back in time, so one fills themselves on the set of a last centuries movie. Special thank you to Paolo and the chef for making my stay extra special!
