Ótimo apartamento. Tudo limpo e organizado. Atendimento tanto no check-in quanto check-out foram ótimos. O que faltaram, foram itens de cozinha como esfregões e detergente de loiça. Mas fora isso, nada a reclamar. A piscina 3 muito boa e estava tudo limpo a sua volta.

Perfect location for the old town Lovely to walk down but may need a Uber back as the hills are horrendous Quiet location Apartments are private and rented but able to still book through a main booking system Only thing unsure about this time round is the reception isn’t the main reception anymore it’s for owners only so checking in is slightly more confusing

We stayed for 2 nights, upgraded for a small fee from a basic room to Superior Room number 149 - modern with a good view. Recommend upgrading as the standard rooms are old fashioned. We used the apartment as a base to explore the old town, the beach and the marina. Everything is within walking distance. Bring comfy shoes, there is alot of walking to be done. Highly recommend Cafe in-certo for breakfast / lunch / cocktails. Highly recommend Jaipur Indian restaurant for evening meal. Please note the hotel has alot of steps within the grounds and the apartments are up a steep hill with uneven ground which is not well lit at night time. All in, cheap digs and a good base to explore the area. You would be best to take your own beach towels. Notes to hotel : please install lighting on the paved walkway from the main road up to the apartments. Hotel exterior could be painted white as from the beach this is the only hotel which is discoloured.

Do not listen to the bad reviews! Just returned back from 5 days at the jardim apartments and I think the bad reviews are people expecting a hotel, it’s a self catering apartment equipped with everything you need. Staff are great they will help with what ever you need. Stunning views and is about 5 minutes down to the old town. Restaurant and pool area on site are great also. If your not fit and healthy or can’t manage stairs I wouldn’t recommend but majority of the old town is up hills and stairs. This was our first time in Portugal and what a beautiful place it is and the hospitality (compared to Spain) is fantastic. If you’re looking for a cheap break away then this is your place. Don’t be fooled by the fussy reviews giving this place a bad name

Where to start if you like camping then do that instead. This place was like nothing in my years of travelling. Minus 5 for rating is not an option but it should be. If you love black mould and silver fish as a basic life form then this is the place for you, as they are in abundance. Everything in this self catering apartment is less then basic, truly this place needs to be taken off anyone’s holiday stay. The decor is more then tired, it’s exhausted. Should have been condemned a long time ago. It’s that horror story that you need to see to believe. You can complain but the office is never open so it will be by phone. Avoid listen to the reviews. Needs someone to go in and get it shut down , so an investor can bring it back to life. Has all the hallmarks of being a gold mine. Has it stands its dump. One thing going for it is the area it is located and the people who run the bar. You have been warned

We have just returned from a 4 night break here, I was worried after reading the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. Our room was basic but clean, it isn’t 5 star & you get what you pay for but for a cheap and cheerful break it was good enough. The pools are a good size and the staff were lovely and friendly. I really do think people just like to moan! Get some comfy shoes - those hills are something else! Although you could always get a tuktuk. We really enjoyed our time here and we will definitely be back!

Arrived at 9pm on the 20 th September firstly reception was all in darkness no one around after phoning the number on booking forms we was told booking was cancelled due to mix up between providers we ended up staying at another hotel for the first night I was absolutely devastated at what was actually happening the next day we was told by on the beach to go back to jardim apt when we finally arrived there and found a lady sat in a small office at end of building she told us this is reception no signs showing for reception she claimed she waited until midnight the previous night to check us in which was a lie nobody was there all in darkness she was rude not at all helpful unprofessional the room was absolutely appalling nothing like the pictures dirty floors horrible bathroom bedding not changed for the whole week towels were rotten changed once dark lighting no tv even leaving apartment no lighting on steps dangerous the whole experience was horrendous worst accommodation ever stayed in I do no other appointments have been upgraded around the complex when on the beach asked for an upgrade for us they were totally fobbed off no communication from apartment manager disgusting behaviour would not recommend this place to anyone it was a horrible nightmare experience and the local beer in bar was very watered down couldn’t even drink it food basic 👎could not wait to leave this place it totally ruined 😡 our holiday
