Orada Apartamentos Turísticos - Marina de Albufeira

Large apartment with some lack of cleanliness and care, hair on the floor and dirty/scratched walls. The first night we arrived it was terrible, I called reception and Ana told me there was nothing she could do because I was leaving at midnight and it was 11:40 when I called and she was super uninterested, there was no television and there was no hot water or stove, the next morning I called reception super upset and found a very attentive receptionist who came to turn on the gas in the apartment and even called a technician to fix the television. I didn't have the chance to apologize to her because I was probably rude and she was very attentive, friendly and professional, unlike Ana! I also met Mónica who is very friendly and even gave me restaurant tips. I don't want to go back there!!

Lovely location, great pool area which isn’t so busy and studios are a great size. Mattress horrible and not comfy at all with springs coming out. Pool very cold and lots of flying ants at night time in the apartment which wasn’t pleasant. Probably wouldn’t stay again.

Fantastic location right by the marina with lovely restaurants. Really spacious 3 bedroom apartment with 4 bathrooms. Better than photos suggest. Beautiful big pool area which was immaculate. 5 minute taxi ride to Old Town. Would highly recommend.

The apartments owned by Orada Marina are excellent, reception staff are fabulous especially Monica, great location HOWEVER ...... BE CAREFUL that your travel agent books with them directly or you might get an apartment via Gravetur who own a few apartments in the complex. The first half of our stay was awful, cockroaches, filthy studio apartment, front door wouldn't open, no air conditioning. I can't stress enough, this apartment was owned by Gravetur and NOT Orada marina. We moved out after day 4 and Monica from Orada Marina had a 1 bed apartment available for the rest of our stay. It was 100 times better. All the issues we had, we put forward to Gravetur. They cleaned the apartment but we were not entitled to air conditioning. An offer of an upgrade was made on day 5 but we rejected it as we were not meant to be in that property from the start. Please make sure your travel agent deals with Orada Marina and not Gravetur. I would have given Orada Marina 5 stars but I gave 3 stars only to let people know about this other property rental company.

These apartments are gorgeous . Never seen so many balconies in a 2 bedroom . The 2 bedrooms are huge . We were a family of 5 and we could have lost each other . The pool area was lovely. Plenty of sunbeds . 2 minutes across the road from the marina which had a variety of restaurants and bars to sit out on and watch the boats . 15 minute stroll into Old Town. Highly recommend and we will definitely be returning here

We were very pleasantly surprised on our short out-of-season stay. The price was very reasonable, the receptionist was extremely pleasant and couldn’t be more helpful, the apartment was a good size and reasonably well appointed, plus it was very clean. We took the free shuttle bus to the old town and back, we really didn’t expect that kind of service out of season, again the driver was very helpful and pleasant. My only small criticism was that a couple of the power outlets were damaged and unusable, not to the point of being dangerous, just a little inconvenient. We would definitely stay there again and would happily recommend it.
