Hotel Majon Miramonti

All of the rooms were redesigned and refurbished during the Covid period 2020/21, so any comments about the rooms in reviews predating this are irrelevant. Our room was very nice with comfortable beds, plenty of storage space, artfully concealed lighting, and one of the best showers I have ever used. All of our group (10 people across 4 rooms) commented how good the showers were. The showers have frosted glass doors that open into the room separately from the toilet. This is convenient as both facilities can be used simultaneously, but if you are very modest and don’t want your companion(s) to see the outline of your body in the shower, this is not the place for you. The owner Dimitri and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. He is the 4th generation of his family to own the hotel so it is very much in the blood. Every night they serve a full six course meal (yes, you read that right: antipasti, salad buffet, soup, pasta, main and dessert). The menu is fixed (different each night) but adaptable; they were very careful to make me gluten-free alternatives, even going so far as to make their own gluten-free ravioli. We all commented on how much food we were eating, but somehow always managed to clear all the plates, which is testament to both the quality and the fact that we were skiing 25 runs / 40 miles a day burning calories. They also recommend different wines each night, that we were always happy with. For breakfast there is a wide selection of bread, cakes and pastries, plus fruit, yoghurt, cereals and seeds / nuts, dried meats and cheese. In the evening there is a cosy pub / bar in the basement with a variety of spaces that we used to play cards and drink much beer and grappa. As far as skiing goes, it is 5 minutes walk from the ski locker room (with heated rails for your boots) to a big new (2014) cable car that takes you to the top of Belvedere and from there it is one run to the Sella Ronda. There is a bubble to Ciampac in the other direction for more alpine-style scenery. Overall you have easy access to the full 450-lift Dolomiti Superski area, which is more than enough territory to satisfy anyone. All of this was at what we thought was a very reasonable price, certainly compared to anywhere we have been in France and even the more fashionable places in Italy.

Nice hotel with excellent location 300m from central lifts. Alba’s own ski terrain (Campiac) is a hidden gem with 2 excellent black pistes. Rooms were newly renovated and the ski locker room has individual cabinets with heated boot holders. Sauna and steam room is also nice and food was nice.

Abbiamo trascorso un weekend in questo hotel ed eravamo 4 coppie di amici. Check in veloce e ci siamo fiondati nella meravigliosa spa. Nuova, funzionale, rilassante, pulita e perfetta per rigenerarsi dopo una giornata di cammino sulle meravigliose dolomiti della val di fassa. Stanze grandi e funzionali. Anche quelle molto pulite e silenziose. Colazione con una scelta non esagerata ma secondo me perfetta e con ingredienti buoni e di qualità. A cena menù elaborato con piatti ricercati e particolari con mix tra tradizione e innovazione. Anche la cena comunque ha incontrato i nostri gusti. Personale e proprietari gentili, accoglienti e disponibili a dare consigli sulle passeggiate da fare. Posizione dell'hotel ottima per la vicinanza agli impianti. Lo consiglio vivamente per vacanze o weekend tra adulti. Forse per i bimbi cercherei un altro tipo di hotel.

Der Aufenthalt in Hotel Miramonti war sehr schön! Perfekte Gastgeber und sehr freundliches Servicepersonal. Das Hotel bietet ein unglaublich reichhaltiges Abendmenue bei Halbpension. Sehr reichhaltiges Salat und Spezialitätenbuffet gefolgt von 4 weiteren Gängen. Der Koch und das Personal haben voll überzeugt! Wir komnen wieder

Consiglio a tutti questo hotel, dove ho trascorso dei giorni bellissimi! Il personale è molto gentile e attento (un grande complimento a professionalità di Anastasia e calore nell'accoglienza di Michela, di cui spero di ricordare il nome corretto), la camera era molto bella e con un grande terrazzo, la posizione strategica x arrivare dappertutto. Perla dell'hotel, il ristorante, dove si mangia in modo eccellente! Lo chef è davvero bravo, sia nel presentare i piatti, che nel gusto e negli accostamenti. 10 e lode a questo hotel a conduzione familiare, che ti fa sentire coccolato e come a casa!

Bonne prestations, chambres etc... tout ok. Personnel agréable. Petit déjeuner top et dîner très copieux 6 plats. Espace détente, Piscine et Spa superbe. Adresse à découvrir. Nous y avons séjourner 2 nuits. Nous y reviendrons.
