La Cacciatora

This was our first time staying in the Dolomites. We chose such a fantastic, family run resort . The accommodations, the food, the wine, the spa, and the staff all exceeded our expectations. It was also so convenient to have the ski rentals right on property and the gondola right next door. This was the best ski vacation experience we have ever had (and we ski every year). We will most definitely return to Hotel La Cacciatora.

This is the 6th time we’re staying at La Cacciotora during the past 20 years. I have to say, this is my favorite hotel, and with 100+ days of traveling per year, I’ve seen a bit. Of course, for skiing, the hotel is perfect, with a short walk to the lifts and then, within minutes, you’re on the slopes. But what really makes this hotel so extraordinary is the family that runs it, their commitment, warmth and attention to detail is out of this world. Also, the staff is just first class, really nice folks. And then there’s the great food, the luxurious wellness facilities, the super cool wine cellar… I could go on and on. Overall, if you’re coming to Alba or Canazei, this is the top of the shelf go-to-hotel, you will not, never, regret your stay here.

Wonderful hotel in a fantastic location with all facilities you can imagine - including but not limited to a fantastic pizzaria and ski rental in the basement, own gorgeous wine cellar and all in easy walking distance (less than 150 meters) to the gondola taking you directly to the Canazei ski area. The lovely, warm and helpful family, the fantastic staff AND the Michelin grade chef ( (in our opinion) running the kitchen providing outstanding gourmet experiences EVERY evening - but at the same time also catering for more basic dishes for your children makes this THE hotel to stay at in Canazei/Alba - no need to look any further ;o) We stayed in a connected suite and there was plenty of space for us and our two pre-teens. In either case the hotel has a really nice lounge area with fireplace and it was never crowded. Also be sure to check out the afternoon cake ;o) Next time we come back to the Canazei area we will for sure stay here again !

Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana. L'esperienza è stata molto positiva. Accoglienza dei titolari e dei dipendenti unica, sempre molto gentili,professionali ed attenti alla cura dei dettagli. Eccellente la pulizia ,dedizione e precisione nell'allestimento delle tavole,davvero molto eleganti. Qualità e presentazione dei piatti sempre molto accurati. Attenzione ed ascolto al cliente ,relazione che diventa "cura". (Personalizzazione della tavola in occasione di un anniversario,gradita ed inaspettata!) Assolutamente consigliato, da sperimentare! Coniugi di Reggio Emilia.

Attenzione al cliente, cortesia, pulizia, qualità della ristorazione e dei servizi SPA, posizione super comoda per le piste da sci o per passeggiate: tutto perfetto. Un hotel dove non vi mancherà niente. Anzi sarà difficile aver voglia di uscirne!

A me piace girare, cambiare zona e alberghi, ma ormai sono anni che non riesco a trovare un motivo che mi allontani da La Cacciatora; I miei amici, che ormai come me lo frequentano da anni, ogni volta mi ringraziano per averglielo fatto conoscere. Ottimo ristorante a la carte, carta dei vini degna di uno stellato, camere, così come la zona wellness, magnifiche, accoglienza sempre impeccabile e amichevole e dimenticavo... cura del particolare...fiori ovunque ... A un minuto reale, a piedi, dalla funivia del Ciampac che collega a Pozza di Fassa e da quella del Col dei Rossi che ti porta al Sella Ronda. Ci vedremo,come ogni anno, il prossimo Dicembre.
