Kasbah Beldi

Great relaxing stay. Although we only stayed one night we had the most wonderful time. The food and drink was very simple but beautifully put together. The staff were all incredibly attentive under the watchful eye of Mohammed who made all the logistics of our stay effortless. Kasbah Bello is slightly off the beaten track but about an hour from Marrakech airport. Views of lake, mountains (snow even in May) and desert are quite stunning. Totally recommend for a quiet, relaxing, no nonsense stay.

Came here after a few days at Beldi Country Club which is relaxing also, but the Kasbah does require a further transition. There is no wifi in the rooms which took me a minute to process! - but it’s lovely in fact. I highly recommend ataying in the little lodges. Number 23 has a lovely terrace and view in front of it. See the photos. The lunch is slightly limited but they will cater to non meat eaters and did a lovely salad nicoise for us. The dinner which really impressed me had a much wider selection, and my main regret of the trip is not staying here longer. As long as the other visiting guests are not too noisy, (unfortunately there was a particularly loud family during our visit), this is an idyllic retreat. 2 /3 nights would have been perfect! Sadly the lake is no more, or too far away to be a part of the scenery, so the water focus is the pool. It felt much hotter here than Marrakech which was appreciated. The fire in the evening in the communal area was excellent, and the atmosphere waa quite special.

I absolutely loved this hotel. The setting is amazing, the pools wonderful, the staff and food terrific. I will absolutely be back. I did a amazing hike from the hotel. It was easy to get to from Marrakech but felt a zillion miles away.

 Gorgeous setting & excellent food & customer service. We spent three nights here on a yoga retreat. The setting is spectacular & views from the large window in the “villas” are memorable. The food is excellent & plentiful. From delicious breakfasts with fresh eggs, orange juice, bread , jams, fruit & yogurt to three course Moroccan lunches & dinners w/ a large variety of choices. The staff can’t do enough for you. The two pool settings are lovely with both shade & sun options. However the rooms are tiny and barely a step up from camping. Towels are rough, no hair conditioning offered. Housekeeping comes very late in the afternoon or even in the early evening & reminders seem necessary to get service. No wi-fi in room. Everyone is very friendly.

Déception totale ... nous avons séjourné dans un hôtel glauque, quasi désaffecté. Les photos prometteuses du site internet ne correspondent pas du tout à la triste réalité que nous avons vécu ! Alors que nous recherchons toujours la quiétude ainsi que l'authenticité belle et simple des lieux où nous séjournons, nous sommes tombés sur un hôtel désert, mal entretenu. Nous étions les deux seuls clients de cet hôtel durant notre séjour de 4 nuits sans en avoir été avertis. L'hôtel était sans âme qui vive. Les lieux étaient quasiment désaffectés. Les terrasses, la salle restaurant, certaines piscines et la serre étaient complètement vides. La boutique et l'atelier broderie ... fermés, le boulanger, le moulin à huile, le cours de yoga ... inexistants. Nous occupions un lodge, certes la vue était belle mais le confort trop rudimentaire pour le prix. Pas de garde robe pour mettre ses vêtements, juste 3 crochets au mur, le reste devant rester dans nos valises. Aucune pression dans la robinet de l'évier ou la douche, juste un fin filet d'eau ... Air conditionné non mis avant notre arrivée alors qu'il faisait 45 degrés dehors et que la chambre était étouffante. Pas un fauteuil ou s'assoir, juste un lit dans la chambre. Pas un cadre ou un objet déco charmant dans la chambre, juste une case où dormir. La nourriture que ce soit au petit déjeuner, déjeuner ou dîner n'est pas variée et très simpliste. Le budget restauration est largement excessif eu égard à l'aspect qualitatif médiocre. Le jour du départ, nous avons demandé le petit déjeuner à 07h pour être à l'aéroport à temps. Cela nous a été refusé (malgré qu'il soit compris dans le prix de la chambre) car la cuisine n'ouvrait qu'à 08h... Bref, un endroit que nous avons subi tristement mais payé grassement ... nous n'y retournons jamais et vous le déconseillons.

Nuit magique au Kasbah Beldi. Havre de paix et de verdure proche du lac. Accueil exceptionnel d’Ismael, Rachid, Jamal et l’équipe. Piscines au top, bon Pdej. Malgré l’absence de cuisiniers car nous étions seuls et avons réservé en last minute, ils ont réussi à nous bricoler un repas sain. Jolie chambre avec vue superbe. Possible Day pass piscine déjeuner pour moins de 400 dh. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute. Merci l’équipe.
