Oxygen Lodge Agafay

The hotel is not easy to get to, due to poor road. The room seemed unkept and unserviced. Shower was broken and there was no hot water. No services available after the evening and nothing opens before 9am - not even hot water, tea or coffee. Restaurant was good and nice entertainment, but the lack of hot water is unacceptable.

Christmas Day treat, wow! This was an amazing experience for the whole family. We had two lodges, which were perfect and had the fire put on for us at night to keep us toasty. We had Christmas day lunch in the tents overlooking the dessert. They had organized a camel ride which was a giggle to do as the sun came down. Food and entertainment in the evening was amazing, finishing the night off watching the night sky by the fire pit a truly memorable experience. I could not recommend more highly.

Nice property and excellent hospitality. It’s deep into Agafay desert. We didn’t do any activity but enjoyed the surrounding, the live music in the evening and a sunrise from a nearby hill. Overall it was a great experience. Highly recommended.

The "resort/camp" is photographed as being small and intimate (they are currently adding at least 5/6 new "tents") but there are 70+ sun loungers around the most stunning pool and seating in the restaurant for a similar amount of visitors ???? as a result that intimacy is slightly lost as it feels empty and lacks any real atmosphere sadly which was ultimately what we were looking for. Its very quiet and very beautiful with OK service and perfectly acceptable simple food but its also fairly basic all round with lack of finishing touches and detail and certainly not the 5* experience we were expecting compared with other similar camps in Agafay. The fire and entertainments was good and ultimately it was still a unique experience in the desert.

Beautiful setting - exactly as photos. Rooms spacious and luxurious. Great A/C / heating. Wifi so strong!! Food and drinks were superb. Nightime entertainment really magical & special. The road leading to the Lodge is extremely bumpy & uncomfortable to travel along - and this takes approx. 20 min.

We spent a night in this lodge with some friends. Our experience was very positive: the accommodations are excellent, service was very friendly and the food was great. Dinner was particularly good with various local dishes. The place is nice facing the desert.
