Saturn Palace Resort

The hotel is smaller and less organized that the neighboring hotel resorts. Parking was off site, back a small path near the maintenance and was in a public are so there is no security. Rooms were ok, standard but worn from much traffic. The food and beverage selection was excellent, there were many separate locations to eat and snack. Reception needs help for check in, took forever to get a simple answer. I booked a sea view and got a side room looking into the back roads with a glimpse of the sea. The compound is a sort of an angle L shape so that we were looking onto another property. The pools and such are close together, it’s tightly organized. Probably the best was the choices for children including water park and slides. Beach area was standard, boardwalk bar is great but needs some attention from staff. The one lifeguard, he was bald and dark tanned older gentleman was so kind and helpful, always had a good word and a laugh. All in all a good stay, enjoyable staff, friendly and fast service from employees who go out of their way to help.

Plenty to do activities and entertainment staff Food was perfect something for everyone It was my brother in laws birthday during our stay and they arranged some special gifts and cake etc first class So sad to be going home! We arrived for one week on the 16th November. This was our first time to Turkey. We booked a whirlpool terrace room 3037. The room was brilliant. It was very spacious and cleaned every day and the towels were also changed every day. The bed was quite hard but it didn’t bother us, we had some of the best nights sleep ever. The whirlpool was an added bonus although we only used it a few times as the weather was not very good. The balcony was very large, it overlooked the sea and mountains. We also enjoyed the use of the free mini-bar. Although we did suggest that maybe wine could be available as the only alcohol in the fridge was beer. This wasn’t a problem though, the staff are so helpful and they kindly arranged for some wine to be delivered. Every day a small team of staff came and asked us if everything was ok with our stay. The food in the hotel was nice although I struggled some days but that’s because I’m fussy but still plenty of choices for all tastes. We also made use of the al a carte, this was amazing, the food was delicious. We tended to spend most of our time down at the beach. The waiter down there called Emin was an absolute superstar. He could not do enough for us. He brought drinks to us before we asked. He works very long hours as do all the staff. We tipped him daily and he definitely appreciated it. The bar down at the beach also served food/snacks from 12:30-4pm which was great if you didn’t want to go back up to the hotel. The hotel also supply beach towels which are free. We just collected them from the hut on the way down to the beach. We didn’t make use of the pools as they were too cold for us, but they all looked spotless and the slides looked great too. Plenty of sun beds available at this time of year, although I bet this is not the case in peak season. Another shout out to Mami, he looked after us in the main restaurant at breakfast and evening meal time. Again he could not do enough for us. Always made sure our glasses were full. We also enjoyed visiting the cocktail bar, the drinks are amazing, all made fresh by the brilliant bar man who I can’t remember his name. All in all this hotel is superb. We don’t normally go all inclusive as we like to go wandering and choose where we eat. But as this was our first time to Turkey we thought we would try this hotel, mainly due to the good price and great reviews. This hotel is definitely 5 star, the facilities are fantastic and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Saturn palace resort to anyone.
