Perfect hospitality from this definitely 5 star ( and some !) heavenly oasis of calm . 7 days of excellent food, drink and hospitality, a thoroughly enjoyable holiday in immaculate garden surroundings with kind , professional service. I wholeheartedly agree with other reviewers who have already commented on the cleanliness and the genuine smiles and friendliness of everyone who works here. You know when you've had a good holiday when you're still laid back and relaxed many days after returning! Thanks to all who work so hard there , special mention to restaurant , bar staff and entertainments , Rhodina for looking after our room and Zudo entertainments team , patiently explaining boules to this hopeless amateur! Anyone booked to come here will have a fantastic holiday. We would love to return , for sure . It was so relaxing by the pool we did very little else. ( One trip to the Port was O.K just to see the boats and the harbour ( we walked ...It's no great distance -just be aware of the inflated prices of those restaurants on the quay side. ) Hard Rock was a 10 dinar taxi each way, only 5 minutes away If I had the time again I would have been just as happy staying around the hotel as it was so relaxing it made you lazy! The pool is no colder than any other when you first venture in . It's very safe, clean and pleasant . My granddaughter and her dad went in it first thing after breakfast every morning. I didn't find it cold at all. Sunbeds aplenty and very comfortable , easy towel hire , no deposit on card required. ( Just don't lose it. Entertainment was great fun day and night . A happy, friendly welcoming place . We feel very lucky to have enjoyed a week here . Thanks to all for the immaculate service. I have never enjoyed a holiday as much as this one at Diar el Andalus.

Such a lovely hotel. Service was great. Our housekeeper Rahma was so friendly and lovely. Alarm at the restaurant made sure we had a great vegan selection of food. And Mohamed at the Star prestige bar was so attentive. Such kind people. Only negatives were the beds were quite hard and so an achey back in the morning. Sad the horses used for animal tourism are very thin and not cared well enough for the work. Bad feet, teeth and very skinny. Tourists need to boycott animal tourism and so no demand no supply. Very sad to hear Tunisia have a government programme from April 20th to shoot stray dogs. Tourists need to make our feelings known.

This is my second visit and did not disappoint. Hotel is spotless. Food is amazing. Rooms are beautiful. Nelah kept our room beautiful each day. Hitchem in the restaurant is wonderful made us feel so welcome. Breakfast in our favourite spot with mugs of coffee every morning. You could eat something different three times a day and not eat the same things. These people work so hard to give you the best holiday. The staff are second to none. We went to the Médina with Freddie DO NOT go without him. Everyone knows him and they leave you alone you don’t get hassled at all. When I get to the hotel it feels like home. Everyone remembered us and treated us like family. I am going back in November this year with my daughter and granddaughter and I can’t wait. Didn’t want to come home. I think this is the best hotel in the area. Security are super they do not miss a thing. Sellers on the private beach are not allowed past the shore line. Nothing gets past these guys. People screw their nose up when you say you are going to Tunisia, this place is paradise. If you want to relax and be treated like a Kardashian this is the place. 30 mins from the airport. I’ve looked and just can’t bring myself to go to any other hotel or Country. Amazing. Would be happy to travel alone to this hotel. Get your towel card from reception then you have fresh towels each day for the beach or pool. This hotel has it all!

I can only rate this establishment 2 stars as the first things to greet us upon check in were 2 live cockroaches in our room The concierge was the most helpful person who first killed them and then went to find a cleaner for us..we went to reception to report it, expecting to be moved but were told by the manager "what do you expect when this is Africa" - and only after my husband expressed his disdain with that comment was any action done - mind you we were only offered a clean as they insisted there were no other rooms we could be moved to. We were given a free 30 min massage which consisted of being doused in oil and the lightest touch ever..also the masseuses didn't leave the room when we were undressing which is unusual We noticed dead fleas in the shower that same evening, possibly a drainage issue 3 days later, a third cockroach is spotted and another large live insect and only then were we moved rooms - no apology given that time we noticed. In the interim, our food boxes weren't properly disposed off..we didn't want to leave a takeaway box in our room and housekeeping decided instead to leave it at the top of the stairs outside of our room for 2 days! We had paid for a Seaview junior suite and the Seaview wasn't even present It's such a shame that this was our experience as the location of the hotel is good, the beach was lovely and buffet was alright..there is a lack of choices for restaurants onsite considering they only offer half board or all inclusive stays. Also most of the staff we encountered were helpful apart from the ones mentioned above But the fact that it felt we weren't being taken seriously and the situation wasn't being acted on quickly is a concern for me on the general hygiene standards of the hotel And now we're trying to get some compensation but the hotel manager is ignoring emails so sorry can't recommend this one!

Wonderful hotel with friendly staff . Quality of food drinks and facilities are amazing. Lush green gardens and beautiful sandy beach with blue clear ocean. Distance to nearby by towns of Kantaoui sousse and Hergla well accessible with cheap shared taxi . Definitely best place even for someone just in for a chill out peaceful holiday or family with kids. Very safe and welcoming surroundings.
