Staying at this hotel inside a historic fortress ( recently reconstraucted) was a truly memorable experience. The setting is absolutely unique — surrounded by ancient walls, with stunning views of the old city of Akhaltsikhe (Rabati) . At night, the atmosphere is incredibly calm and serene, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. During the day, the fortress attracts many tourists, so it can get a bit busy outside, but the charm of the scenery and the energy of the place more than make up for it. The room was clean and comfortable, though it’s worth noting that there is no lift, so be prepared for stairs. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety . Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also delectable and very reasonably priced. The service was okay — not particularly outstanding, but everything we needed was handled efficiently.

It offers a nice experience since it is located inside a fortress in a wonderful setting. Really splendorous. The rooms are huge and very quiet. The breakfast is good and the staff courteous. Major drawback is the absence of lifts in the building, so be prepared to carry your luggage up and down stairs. Another nuisance is that the water from the shower seeps into the bathroom floor.

Best thing is the location - right on the territory of the ancient fortress. Which is also its disadvantage- from the car parking one needs to walk few steps up and a hundred meters to the hotel entrance, also there is no elevator in the building. Hotel is quite well kept and clean, including SPA area. Couple of SPA facilities were inactive during our visit, but it didn’t affect our relaxation. Perhaps because of the joint door between our room and the next one, there wasn’t sufficient sound insulation and we heard many sounds from the next room. If this is the quality overall thought the hotel rooms, then it should be improved. For breakfast there was a good selection of snacks, including truly delicious traditional hachapuri and tasty coffee. Recommended for stay.

Room was very big, clean and looked new. Great experience to stay in a hotel inside a castle / fortress :) Hotel itself was fine, spa was non-inviting so I didn't use - which was a shame. I stayed only 1 night, so didn't have much time to explore it more.

Super nice place, everything was well equipped as advertised. Very comfortable bed and mattress, spacious room and bathroom, with good shower and strong water supply. The Room is big and well equipped. The Balcony is huge, beautiful and comfortable table and chairs, there you can spend pleasant time. Very clean rooms and good Breakfast. Guests can enjoy with specious spa service, which is rare in this area. Location was also top, we lived inside the castle. Staff s very supportive, friendly and polite. Highly recommended place. We will come back again!
