Radisson Blu Resort, Al Hoceima

I have never been as disappointed with a service and hotel as I was with the Radisson Blu Resort in Al Hoceima: -The hotel is empty, and it feels like there’s a lack of staff. -No one answers the phone in the rooms. -There’s no buffet for lunch or dinner, only a very limited menu that repeats every day. - The quality of the food is not fresh; you can tell it's leftovers from the day before -The breakfast is very limited, far from the quality expected of a 5-star hotel. -We constantly had to ask the cleaning staff to clean the bathroom and provide basic products like shower gel. -No bottled water or herbal tea in the room, everything has to be requested. -The SPA was supposed to be included in our reservation, but they charged us an additional 180 DH to access the sauna. In summary, an exhausting stay, truly a disaster.

Management needs to be changed urgently: by dint of cutting costs, management is drastically reducing the quality of service: -Reception: understaffed, so very very very long waiting times After the check-in queue:The suite reserved was not ready (not yet cleaned), so we had to wait another 4 hours!!!so there probably weren't enough staff to clean all the suites that day. -Meals: no variation in fruit. Still a lot of waiting, with fish sometimes out of stock, with only one person to prepare it: so savings on fish and more savings on staff... - Reception never answers the phone. - The cleaning service didn't come for several days despite repeated requests. We had to go back to the reception desk for the umpteenth time and get annoyed because there wasn't even any toilet paper in the suite. We're talking about a 5-star hotel! -All the cafés/bars offer only packaged juices (of poor quality to boot) and no fresh juices (this is Morocco, land of fruit). Several products missing to prepare orders = Mojitos without mint, Cocktails on the menu, the barman prepares it without all the ingredients or changes the recipe). Lack of staff to prepare orders (cost reduction), so delays+++. - Dining benches, chairs, small tables next to translates are NEVER cleaned, so are all extremely dirty! - Plastic plates and glasses: unheard of in a 5-star hotel! Bottom line: a vacation spent queuing up to check in, waiting for the suite to be cleaned, waiting for “pseudo cocktails” with poor-quality ingredients, waiting for meals, eating on dirty trays... repeatedly going to reception to ask for the cleaning and toilet paper service... all to cut costs... it's sad and deplorable for a 5-star establishment....the quality of the service provided is extremely low... Management and mentality urgently need to change before the hotel sinks!

Now the hotel is 3 years old, so hotel is very modern and nice. All rooms have balcony or small terrace, air conditioning. Every day was room cleaned 🤍. The staff of this hotel are very friendly and nice. There was super SPA in the area of hotel, where was a few people. So after day on the beach it is very good place (if you like less people as we 😊). Food was good, large selection. Fishes was very very good. Every night was animation program, it was fun. Beach was clean, sea was warm, bar was there too. The only downside was Marrocan people. To this hotel arrive 95% Marrocan people. These people don't know how to behave, they get ahead of the queue, they pollute. It's a shame because it's a new hotel and the seats in the dining room... you're afraid to sit on them. That's why you go to eat on time, so it still looks normal 😊. And the boardwalk isn't worth it either. You believe me. Rather go some trip :).

Several factors contributed to making our experience extremely unpleasant: The lines for meals were so lengthy that we often gave up waiting and settled for whatever items were still available. Several items, like cereal, milk, and coffee for breakfast, were not restocked promptly, and they were depleted rapidly. Clean cups and glasses were frequently unavailable, particularly during breakfast. Finding available and clean tables was a challenge. The ones we managed to secure were often dirty, with a significant amount of uneaten food left behind. This is because local patrons tend to take excessive portions to their tables and leave much of it uneaten. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was appalling. Trash bags were left in the middle of the dining area, and piles of unwashed dishes, cups, and utensils were visible. The establishment is clearly unprepared to accommodate such a high volume of customers simultaneously. Despite their good intentions, the staff lacked proper training for the expected level of service. They merely swiped crumbs off tables using the same paper towel, seemingly unaware that this is inappropriate. Toilet paper was consistently lacking in the rooms, and it was difficult to locate in the pool area restrooms. The staff simply did not replenish it when it ran out. None of the showers in the pool area were operational. Acquiring a child's bed for the room was a significant challenge. It was absent upon our arrival, and we had to request it multiple times. There was a shortage of towels for three people, and replacements were often not provided, even though the used ones had been taken. The infirmary was advertised to be open from 9 to 18, but on the day we required its services, no personnel were present at 15, 16, 17, or 18. When we raised our concerns, their solution was to call for an ambulance. Half of the individuals in our group of eight fell ill with gastroenteritis. Despite our request for three rooms in close proximity to one another, we were scattered across the resort.

Nice hotel .. not as I expected but also not that bad .. The swimming pool is enjoyable Not so much type of food in buffet The rooms are okey Splash bar needs more bar man YOU Gotta wait longer to be served All in all we enjoyed it The animation team is so talented We liked all the night shows :simo ,Salah,Youssef,fouad, Lahcen,astep up Thanks to all of you We wish you the best 💪🏽
