Fairmont Mara Safari Club

Pros: location is excellent, very nice amenities, food is very good, and game drives with Moseka were also good (despite not finding a male lion). I was injured during this trip and the nurse Betty took great care while redressing my wounds. All staff were very polite. The property itself is beautiful. Wake up service and morning coffee delivery was a very nice personal touch. View of mara river and hippos grunting away will never be forgotten. Cons: disorganised staff - they didn't know we were on our honeymoon trip despite telling them in advance. Phone did not work in the room and our room was in the far wing of the property. There were a lot of staff at the property who mentioned that they are assigned to us specifically but then we had to rely on the other staff. During checkout, they couldn't figure out we had prepaid in advance. They booked hot air balloon for us on the day of checkout only to then later rush us to pack in hurry when they could have simply told us to keep our luggage ready a day in advance.

Fairmont is a luxury outfit nestled at a wonderful location at a conservancy. Impecable service with all details taken care of. Spacious and well appointed rooms. Delighted with the meal services - they cater for vegetarians as well. Tge game drive vehicles are also comfortable, open sided for good game viewing.

An absolutely beautiful place to end our safari through Kenya. The location is incredible with views of the hippos on the Mara River, and the conservancy is large enough that we truly felt that we had the place to ourselves on our game drives. The tents are more luxurious than many hotels - we didn't want to leave! The food was excellent, and the service was incredible - Herman and Adan took great care of us at the lodge, and Dominick and Nicholas were excellent guides on our game drives. Highly recommended!

I absolutely loved everything about this hotel and trip! It such an unforgettable experience. The Mother Nature is stunning with her animals! I had a dream and it came true, the stuff and the hotel made it happen! I would like to say thank you to each of you who served me there! Special Thank You Dominic and Nicholas (our guides) for doing the most important job! I came for Safari and I saw everything. We spent many hours doing game drives, learning about animals and the area ( Masai village). I also recommend night safari, different experience, exciting! I will be always sharing this hotel because it was truly wonderful! Forever grateful🙏🏻❤️

Fairmont mara is a beautiful property right on the mara river. Staff are so humble, and eager to solve the issues. Manager Mr William, Driver Alfred, Staff trainee Vivian, Ms Mercy made our stay memorable. The camp can do better with a Gym onside and in- tent dining options. Overall very satisfactory stay. Loved the hippo hide and Boma dinners. The Kenyan chef who specialises in Indian cuisine is exceptionally good.

We recently stayed in the Fairmont Mara Safari Club for a few nights as it was the basis for our game drives in the Masai Mara. We had a very special experience in the club. Sleeping next to a river with hippos was very exciting. The tents are simple but the interior was surprisingly clean and luxurious. The quality of the meals was good and there is internet connection available in the main building for sharing pictures with your loved ones. I would like to point out that the staff was very authentic and friendly. They took good care of our kids and were supportive in any situation. During our stay, we unfortunately needed the nurse of the club. She was competent and helped us out. We can highly recommend the club for every family.

The stay was enchanting. Our room overlooked the Mara River, allowing us to watch the hippos bathe daily. The staff was invariably friendly and smiling. Rose, our waiter, was perpetually cheerful. Caleb, in housekeeping, delighted us with charming notes. Moseka, our safari guide, impressed us with his extensive knowledge and knack for finding incredible spots. Nancy, the hotel manager, made it a point to check on us daily, ensuring our satisfaction. In summary, the experience was exceptional, and I am eager to return. My gratitude to Fairmont for their exceptional service!

Amazing location, excellent service - one of my best travelling experiences. All the staff was incredibly kind and professional, specially Alex in the restaurant, Lenkoko as our guide/ranger and Caleb in our room service - I highly recommend this hotel
