When we first arrived we were given rooms that didn't look at all like in the pictures, and did not belong in a 5 star hotel. Maybe worthy of 3 stars. Our sea view room was on the ground floor with the tiniest balcony, also the smallest balcony in the room category. View to the sea was mainly obstructed by a restaurant and parked cars. Also the craziest part is that the room didn't have any power outlets you could charge your phone with, in a 5 star hotel.. Also my grandparents who we were on holiday with, got their very similar room, with a view to the street and an ATM machine. Also just one power outlet. Well, then we went to the reception to ask if we could get new rooms, and were told to come and ask the next morning. Luckily then we did get new rooms, and the rooms were completely different, looked modern and had power outlets, kitchenettes, and great views. But had we stayed in the rooms we got first, this review would be very different. Also a big thank you to Katerina & Lorena from the reception, who were very helpful by getting us the new rooms. The hotel itself is of course very great, with the 5 pools, the location on the beach and many restaurants etc.. Another thing I wish the hotel took care of are the cats in the hotel area. Especially this one that came to the pool everyday around the same time. A 5 star hotel has all the resources to take care of the cats, it should't have to be left to tourists like us to give them food and take care of them while we can.

We had a great stay at Porto Platanias Beach in the middle of May. Nice location, good food and it's a really nice buffet restaurant with seaview. Very nice staff in the restaurant and they serve all drinks to the table, it worked really well. One of the pools were heated so my daughter could swim as much as she wanted. In May the other pools were still very cold. There is a also two good playgrounds, one next to the heated pool. In the same area with heated pool and playground there is also a miniclub. Big thank you to the Animation team with Nick and Teddy for taking such good care of my girl! She loved spending time there and waited every morning/afternoon for the club to open. They have different themes every day and do a lot of crafts and playing with the kids. A really good way to take a break from the sun for the kids. There is also stretch/yoga every morning for adults to join, it was a very nice activity to start the day! In the evenings the Animation team arranges a Minidisco. It was a fun end to the evenings 🥳 We loved our stay in the hotel but if there is something that could be better it's that guests put their towels on the sunbeds very early morning or nighttime maybe so to get any sunbed you have to do the same or they are all taken. Sunbeds on the beach are 5 euro, would have been nice if they were included espcially since it seems to be to few sunbeds in the hotel. There is restaurants and shops right outside the hotel so perfect location.

We had one week all inclusive paccage and everything was unbeliveble good. Service, room, beds, pillows, food allmost everytime, booze from pool bar. Pool area was clean. If i need to say something bad it would be the drink service in dining. They should put put everything in taps so everybody could get their own and the hotel would save a lot of money, because there would not need staff to carry those drinks to tables. When i’m coming back to Kreeta i will choose this hotel with allinclusive again..

Very nice hotel! Beautiful sandy beach nearby. The whole service was so amazing. Good food and clean rooms. Fantastic! The evening shift at the pool bar made our experience so much more fun. Special regards to Panagiotis and Thanasis :) from the Lobster and her family

Unfortunately I have nothing to compare it against so my review might not be accurate... So... Dim the light if possible in the buffe restaurant Find a way to reduce the hurricane wind in the a/c Add Chromecast capabilities to each room Cudos to the staff who tried to activate us every day (dart, tabletennis, gym in the pool) Food (all inclusive) could be more diversed. Same food every day. Pros & Cons with all inclusive... Many restaurants close to the hotel

Absolutely rubbish hotel, we are currently staying in this hotel and we experienced unexpected racism from the bar staff, never have we ever been subjected to this type of racism, worst of all management did nothing about it and did not even bother to ask and help us, we are all hotel managers in London and this is nowhere near a 5 star hotel as advertised, this is not even a 2 star hotel if i could give 0 stars i would, all staff are miserable and are not interested in helping at all, we spoke to guest relations who do not refer us to management and that person seemed disinterested in helping even though we were clearly upset by this, by law they are supposed to give us management information but that also did not happen, i want my full refund as i will be demanding my refund as we are visibly upset with this encounte, DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL poor customer service poor management, i do not feel valued as a guest and do not feel safe, i have not left my room as i do not want to be insulted and subjected to more racism, we want to leave and we are staying here until Monday

Stayed at this hotel for one week and to be honest that was enough. When myself and my husband arrived in our room, crack in bathroom sink, broken toilet seat. My husband put clothes on shelf in wardrobe went to wear something off the shelf and clothing was thick with dust. No tea or coffee making facilities in room. The food in the restaurant was luke warm, we was heating food in the microwave in food area. There is a sign saying do not leave towels on sunbeds , and says staff will remove them, that's not true never a sunbed free people putting towels down at 6.45am in the morning. I complained to management they put coffee machine and kettle in room but had to go to bar by one of the pools to get milk etc. In restaurant chip in glass and also in mug . Probably sounds like I'm being extremely picky, but have never experienced this in a 5*. On a good note location good, beautiful views. But definitely not 5*

in every respect, this hotel is the best choice in Platanias! An extremely tasteful, clean hotel. There was a nice, helpful, punctual lady at the reception. The restaurant has a delicious selection of dishes. and in the bar next to the pool we got extra delicious cocktails. I would like to highlight Mr. Panos in the bar who is always very attentive, kind to all guests and makes great cocktails!!! thank you for the very warm hospitality. We will be back soon!
