Tzilios Studios

The room was clean and fresh cleaners where fantastic even folded up my t shirts on bed for me room was cleaned 3 times in the. Week the owner was welcoming and warm and the people I met there where great they are a group that go there every year which I thought tells you a lot about the place. You keep on going back. I am a solo traveler and felt at home so thanks for a great holiday I’ll be back.

Visited in July 2024 just for 4 nights. The studio apartment was perfect for us as we were only there for 4 nights, the family who run it were friendly and always supplied anything you needed. I asked for a hairdryer and they let me keep it the whole time I was there no problem The only negative I'd say is the shower was tiny the tap touched your back whilst you showered, so I had to leave shower curtain open which made the bathroom soaking wet. It was OK still managed to shower but if I was staying for 2 weeks would of been abit annoying. Fresh towels were supplied. The pool was a good size always got sunbeds. Walking distance to the beach but note it is a pebble beach so good to have sea shoes. Absolutely loved Corfu beautiful island would stay here again.

We had a lovely week at the Tzilios Studios. The family who run it and the staff working were amazing! Very friendly and helpful. The apartments are basic but very clean and the beds were comfy. We were on the top floor which allowed us amazing views. We loved waking up and looking over to Albania everyday. The pool is amazing and there were always enough sun loungers. The pool bar is great. A good selection of drinks and some tasty food too. We arrived past 10 pm and were welcomed with complimentary lemon cake. They said that they were still serving food so we had some pizzas. This was great as we were a bit worried about not having any dinner. The location is great. Short walk into town or down to the beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants in town and on the seafront. We liked that it was a real town opposed to a resort town. It's on a busy road, but the noise didn't bother us at all. We were a bit worried about the pebble beach but it was great, as soon as you are in the water you have sand underfoot. Lots of bars/restaurants have sun loungers you can use if you buy something. This worked well for us and we ended up with a lot less sand everywhere compared to normal 'beach' holidays. We did a trip to Old Perithia and to the top of Mount Pantokrator, which was really enjoyable. Also hired a boat for a few hours in Roda and took it down to Sidari, which was lots of fun. Walked to Roda, which is took about 20 minutes. There is a sandy beach there and lots of bars and restaurants. We all said that we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great stay!

We have just stayed at Tzilios for a week in room 12 on the second floor and have absolutely loved it. The view from the balcony towards the ocean and Albanian mountains are absolutely stunning. The apartments are typically Greek but very well equipped. Pool is a great size with plenty of sunbeds/ umbrellas. Onsite bar serves drinks at a very reasonable price with a small food menu which we could not fault having eaten here twice. The kitchen has a small oven/ 2 hobs/ kettle/ crockery/ utensils etc. The walk to the beachfront with bars and restaurants were less than a 10 minute walk, with an abundance of supermarkets and small local shops all within a short distance. We had an absolutely fantastic stay here thanks to Bettina and all the staff. You could not hope to meet nicer people. Value for money/ facilities/ location I think would be very hard to beat anywhere else in Achavari.

Lovely hotel, great value for money... huge swimming pool, very resonable prices at pool bar. Good food. Great location bars and restaurants on main street 10min walk (Alegria was exceptional mixed seafood plater and mixed meat plater amazing)... bars and resturants on the beach front 10/ 15 minutes away. Bus stop out the front 5min bus journey to rhoda. I suggest getting the ferry over to Albania and then catching a taxi over to ksimil lovely beaches. Sidara very beautiful too we spent the day there caught a taxi for 25euros.

Lovely apartments, they make you really feel welcome. It is effectively run by a very friendly Greek family, its not posh, but you have everything you need, and you only need to ask if you want anything or help. They have quite a lot of cute friendly cats that roam around the place. The pool is lovely, their are always plenty of sunbeds available. The bar and food served there is very good and very reasonably priced. Wifi is very good by the pool and bar area. Sometimes we were not always able to get wifi in our apartment, perhaps it needs a booster? or perhaps too many people using it at the same time? The town of Acharavi is on the doorstep, and about 5 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket. The local beach is about 400 metres walk. The bus stop is just outside, and has a reasonable bus service, alternatively you can book coach trips to other local resorts cheaply anyway, if you dont wish to drive. We would be quite happy to go back again, and highly recommend this place.
