Only stayed for one night but we got to tour the grounds. And use the amenities. What a great spot. The vilas are exceptional and well stocked With a brilliant traditional breakfast of meats cheese bread Juice and cake. I don’t know if I’ll ever be back this way but if I get the opportunity I’d love to spend more time here. The young lady at the desk on Thursday June 6 in the evening was amazing.

We spent one night in Monte do Giestal. We chose the location because of the convenient distance form the coast, and Setubal peninsula. It is situated outside the town, so the location is private and quiet. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside, and as a part of the property there is a cork oak grove where we had our morning walk. The grounds are nicely landscaped and there is private parking close the the accommodation. Our Villa was spacious and beautifuly designed.The kitchen was well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. WiFi worked fine.We had breakfast in the main building. The selection of the food was excellent. All employees we met were friendly and helpful. We didn't have time to use the spa, but we hope for another stay in this great place. Definitely recommend!

Everything about the stay was perfect!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was also great (T1 Standard), the kitchen is very well equipped, the house has air conditioning as well as a fireplace. Even tho all the houses have a kitchen you also have a really good breakfast included, and they also have a restaurant to partner with that serves both lunch's and dinner's and deliver it to your apartment. The spa is also really good. Disclaimer: The wifi is not great, although they have invested a lot in making it better, the telco companies simply don't have good service or wifi in those areas, not their fault, on the other hand its great to disconect from the world a bit and relax.

We had a great stay at Monte Do Giestal! It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the countryside. The services are great: nice breakfast, a poolbar and the possibility to order your evening meal to be delivered at your house (so we could enjoy it at our terrace :--)). The staff was very friendly and accessible, they were present at lot during the day and always reachable through Whatsapp, which was very convenient. The house was really nice and spacious. The bathroom can use an update, but everything was very clean. Nice location for kids, with the 2 pools, tennis court, little playground and nice walk through the cork trees!

Excellent stay of two days. The houses, the pool and the surroundings just fantastic! The staff were amazing and always trying to support you as best as possible! The main meals are delivered at home and tasted wonderfully! For sure we will come back!

Stayed here for a weekend and had one of the most fantastic experiences so far on a weekend escape. An amazing space (houses-well equiped, well decorated, pristine) and landscape where we have the freedom to do nice walks and/or cycling through the estate and discover some curiosities like some friendly donkeys, sheeps or an ancient tree. The SPA and the fantastic indoor pool are delightfull. And the cherry on top of the cake: the staff! Very well educated, attentious, competent and most important, friendly. These are people that care about you...and that is priceless!

Everything.. but above all the confort that was to just order food from the restaurant and have it delivered on our room. It makes everything so much easier and better. Breakfast as also this option that we valued a lot. Hiking around the area was also very nice and quiet. The pool could perhaps be bigger but its just a very small detail among so many wonderful things about this place

O Monte do Giestal é uma excelente opção para passar uns dias calmos e recarregar baterias. As villas são muito espaçosas e limpas, com todos os confortos. O Monte tem também um ótimo espaço exterior, com duas piscinas exteriores, jardins, animais (ovelhas e burros). Há também duas piscinas interiores e SPA. O pequeno almoço é muito completo e na receção é ainda possível tomar pequenas refeições leves, há alguns brinquedos, snooker, e funcionários sempre atentos e prontos a atender às necessidades dos hóspedes. O Monte tem ainda um acordo com um restaurante local e é possível receber na nossa villa refeições deliciosas e acabadas de fazer. Recomendo muito o Monte do Giestal!
