My wife and I were allocated this hotel because our flight had been cancelled. It’s quite a distance from the airport and 30 minutes from the city. There are no public transport options available. The shuttle bus will take you to a rail station for €23. Expensive. The shuttle also wasn’t where we were advised at the airport. On phoning the hotel to query this, I was spoken to in a rude and abrupt manner. They didn’t answer when I phoned again. So, taxi to the hotel it was. We had a voucher from KLM for dinner, which we couldn’t get until 2030 (3 hours away) and it was from a limited menu. The elevator was out of order so up the stairs we went. They were steep and narrow. Thankfully, we didn’t have any large cases. We got to our room which had “suite” on the door. It was very cold and the only heating was the air conditioning, which didn’t want to work. Drinking water was charged at over €3 - it was clearly tap water. The wifi didn’t extend to our room, either. We just booked another place and left. I have been visiting the Netherlands for 20 years in a business and leisure capacity and I’ve not been spoken to in the manner I was here. Avoid.
